In 2016, several ambitious students started a new CSA club: the Hacking Club. They jumped headlong into two “Capture the Flag” competitions in the spring, taking 100th place out of over 300 teams. A great start for students with no prior hacking experience! In these competitions, the goal is to find hidden text (flags) buried in remote systems and various kinds of files. Students use their problem solving and coding skills to try to decode messages and get into secure files.

Meetings: Fridays at lunch, Room 26
President: Byron Osborne
Club Advisor: Paul Muhl
